I love this show - entertainment value is A+ IMO

I love watching how rough the coppers are with the crims. It's kinda scary at times, to see just how rough the US cops can be with crims and not get in any trouble at all...

It's an entertaining show but it's as representative of typical US law enforcement as Beverly Hills 90210 was to life in California.  To be honest, sometimes I wish they'd really get rough with some of those lowlifes.

But yes, COPS is a fantastic show, real-life law enforcement at its finest, I try not to miss it.

It's good to see shows like COPS giving ordinary people the chance to see what police have to put up with on a daily basis. I doubt criminals watch it, but it has taught me a few things about police behaviour and how many dodgy people are out on the streets.
